Oliver is a Chartered Insurer from the Chartered Insurance Institute, (UK) and a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Cape Coast, an Executive Masters Degree in Business Administration from The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), and an LLB from the University of London.

He is a seasoned insurance practitioner and a business leader with over 21 years of working experience, 12 years of which have been in Middle and Top Management positions in the Ghanaian Insurance Industry. As part of his professional and career development, he has attended various insurance and business leadership courses and training programs in London, South Africa, Morocco, Kenya and Togo.

Before joining Millennium Insurance Company Limited, he worked as the Chief Operating Officer of Provident Insurance Company Limited.
