Head of Finance & Administration

Mrs. Eunice Mawushie Gaba is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a proud graduate of the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS), Legon. She obtained her BSc (Hons.) in Accounting from Central University College and pursued further education at the University of Ghana Business School, Legon, where she earned her MSc in Accounting & Finance. In addition, she holds a specialist certificate in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). She is a Member in good standing of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG).

She started her professional career with Provident Insurance Company Limited in 2004 as an Accounts Officer.  By dint of hard work, she rose through the ranks to become Deputy Head of the Accounts and Finance Department.  A position she held until her resignation from the company to join Glico Group in 2011 as an Assistant Manager, Internal Controls & Compliance.  She later worked briefly with the Budget Unit of the Ministry of Local Government & Rural Development before joining Ghana Insurers Association in 2014 as the Head of Finance and Administration.

With nearly two decades of experience in the insurance industry, Mrs. Gaba has successfully contributed her quota in the areas of budgeting, financial reporting, treasury management, investment management, taxation, auditing, financial analysis, planning and managing people.

Her dedication to her profession is evident through her active membership in various institutions, such as the Association of Women Accountants’ Ghana (AWAG), the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners (IHRMP), and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG).

She is very passionate about her work and believes in teamwork.
