Mrs. Jacqueline Benyi embodies a belief that life is not about finding oneself but about creating oneself. With a deep-rooted faith in God, an ambitious mindset, and transformative leadership skills, she is dedicated to making a lasting impact and driving long-term value.

Having been part of Enterprise Life Ghana from its early days, Jackie’s journey to becoming the Managing Director in January 2016 involved working in various departments and demonstrating unwavering commitment. As one of the company’s pioneer employees, she climbed the corporate ladder through sheer hard work and determination. Her notable achievements include establishing Enterprise Life’s first branch in Tema and leading teams in the setup of Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Corporate Business, and Sales Operations departments. Jackie’s relentless pursuit of business excellence and operational efficiency has propelled the company towards continuous business remodeling, organizational restructuring, process optimization, and the effective implementation of technology to enhance customer experience and create value for shareholders. Her technical expertise in life insurance administration has significantly contributed to the success of Enterprise Life’s product portfolio. With 19 years of experience in life insurance, including 17 years in leadership roles, Jackie is a seasoned professional in her field.

She holds a degree in Economics and Sociology, as well as an EMBA in Finance from the University of Ghana, Legon. Jackie is a Chartered Insurer and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) in the UK. Additionally, she has attained the Advanced Diploma in Life and Disability Underwriting (DLDU) and the Advanced Diploma in Life and Disability Claims (DLDC) from the Assurance Medical Society of London. These qualifications distinguish her as the first and only professionally qualified life underwriter and life claims assessor in Ghana.

Jackie’s leadership is characterized by a strong focus on people development. She deeply values the employee experience and ensures it permeates all aspects of her work. This emphasis on engagement has resulted in a highly motivated team, driving business productivity and solidifying Enterprise Life’s position as the leading life insurer in the industry.

As an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana, Jackie actively contributes to the industry’s professional standards and ethics through her role in the Professional Standards and Ethics Committee. She is also a member of the Life Council of the Ghana Insurers Association and leads the Life Technical Committee for Claims and Underwriting. Jackie’s commitment to continuous growth led her to complete the Sanlam Senior Management Development Programme at the University of Stellenbosch and the Sanlam Executive Leadership Programme at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria, both in South Africa. She has also presented papers at local and international conferences, showcasing her expertise and contributing to industry knowledge.

In recognition of her outstanding achievements, Jackie has received numerous accolades. In 2014, she was awarded Insurance Personality of the Year 2013 at the National Women in Finance Awards and received the Nobles International Award after being inducted into the West Africa Nobles Forum in 2016. In 2019, she was honored with the Best Achiever in Life Insurance at the 5th Feminine Ghana Achievement Award, Woman of Excellence at the Ghana Insurance Awards, and CEO of the Year (Insurance Category) at the Ghana CEO Summit. The Business Executive recognized her as the Most Respected CEO at the Ghana Industry CEO Awards in 2020, and she was named the Best Female CEO at the Ghana Insurance Awards in 2021.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Jackie is deeply passionate about children’s welfare and currently serves as a Shepherd in her church’s Sunday School.
